Mr. William Russell Tatom, age 53, of Hayden, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011.

Born in Birmingham, Russell was devoted to his ministry with Alabama Teen Challenge since 1985. A loving husband and father, he will be deeply missed.

Russell is survived by his wife, Michele Tatom; daughters, Ashley, Lindsay, Rachel and Johanna Tatom; parents, Milton Russell and Janis Phelps Tatom; and his sister, Jan Tolar.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. at Evangel Assembly of God in Mt. Olive, with a funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery in Montgomery.
