Schools closing early due to severe storm threat

Jefferson County Schools have just announced that schools will close at 1:30 p.m. today because of the possibility of severe weather this afternoon.
In addition, Blount County schools. including Hayden, will close at 1 p.m.
All scools are closed Wednesday to start the Rhanksgiving holiday.
