Corner principal Ron Cooper is fine

Contrary to what’s been posted on the Internet, Ron Cooper is just fine.

The Corner High School principal was the subject of online rumors that he had suffered a heart attack and died while at the Alabama-LSU football game on Saturday night.

Cooper suffered nothing more than disgust at the outcome of the game.

“I started getting some calls after I got home from the game from folks checking on me,” Cooper said. “I’m OK. Nothing wrong.” Cooper was in his office Monday, as the school dealt with the death of student Mikal Ann Webb.
