Several items of business were discussed, but the Warrior City Council tabled action on all of them during their regular meeting Monday night.
The council postponed action on a tax incentive for Dewey Barber Chevrolet, which would grant the car dealer benefits to offset some of the costs of enhancements to the business. The council also tabled action on a request by the Warrior Public Library Board that an emergency fund be established to cover unforeseen expenses, and also the reappointment of Mary Turner to the library board.
The next Warrior City Council meeting is Nov. 7, 6 p.m., at Warrior City Hall. Pre-council work sessions are at 5:30 p.m.
