The twenty-first annual See You at the Pole prayer event is set for Wednesday, which coincides with the annual Global Day of Student Prayer.

A rally will be at Christway Church of God in Gardendale, 6:30-8 p.m., with DPB, the Generation Band and speaker Micah Dorman.

The theme this year is “Converge,” based on Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I with them.”

Many schools also host See You at the Pole prayer rallies on campus before school starts.

See You at the Pole started in 1990 with a single youth group. First Priority estimates up to 30,000 students across the greater Birmingham area will participate in See You at the Pole this year.
