Tidwell – Meriwether wedding

Erin Leigh Meriwether and Robert Noel Tidwell, III were united in marriage on June 11, 2011 at 10:00 in the morning at First Baptist Church in Cullman, Alabama. The ceremony was officiated by Richard Orr.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Spence Meriwether of Cullman. She is the grandaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob James of Dawsonville, Georgia and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Spence Meriwether, Sr. of Newborn, Georgia.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Noel Tidwell Jr. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Noel Tidwell Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith, all of Cullman.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a soft shimmer satin gown in diamond white. The gown featured a sweetheart neckline and Swarovski crystal motif, centered at the bodice. A chapel length train with pleats completed the simple and elegant ensemble. She carried a bouquet of white roses and blue delphinium accented with pearls and crytals.
Alison Meriwether, sister of the bride, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Howard, Katie Murphree and Emmalee Tidwell. The bridesmaids wore strapless tea length dresses of pale gray organza. Their bouquets were made of white roses and blue delphinium.
Robert Tidwell Jr., father of the groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Kiron Browning of Texarkana, Texas, Will Tidwell and Jerome Yates.
Ushers were Eli Howard, Josh Shaddix, Tyler Skipper and Christopher Smith.
Hannah Sanford and Jennifer Yeager attended the guest book.
Music was provided by Penny Adair, Stephen Adair and Haleigh Black on the violins and Hannah Sanford on the piano. Special music was performed by Cassie Gable, Robert Tidwell Jr. and Leah Doss. The wedding was directed by Judy Wise.
Following the ceremony a brunch reception was held at the Pointe.
The couple now makes their home in Cullman.
