Thirty-two beds have been relocated to Bradford Health Services in Warrior from the organization’s Shelby County location, according to the State Health Planning and Development Agency.

The substance abuse beds were originally supposed to relocate from Shelby to Montgomery County, but a modification to the move’s Certificate of Need was issued today to Addiction and Mental Health Services, Inc. The move will reduce the 102 beds in Shelby by almost a third.

The project will cost an estimated $4,013,000.
