Local golfer Josh Nichols wasted no time in making his round of golf at Green Briar Golf Course a memorable one, as he put the very first shot into the cup Friday.

His hole in one on the first hole, from 130 yards away, came off an 8-iron.

The ace was witnessed by playing partner Bart Washburn.
