The Gardendale Arts Council will produce a show of the musical version of the book “13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey” at the Gardendale Civic Center. Tickets are available at the Civic Center or by calling 631-2421. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (65 and older) and $6 for children ages 6-12. Children 5 and under are free with a paid adult.

Acipco/Eagan Grammar School will have a reunion for the classes of 1922-1970 at Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, located at 805 Crest Drive. The Church at Morris Quilt Ministry will host a Quilt and Needlework Show, which will include heirloom quilts, hand and machine quilted and miscellaneous needlework. The show is free and refreshments will be served. The church is at 8350 3rd Ave. N in Morris (intersection of Third Avenue N and Morris-Majestic Road).

There will be a bike ride, bike show and car show to raise funds for the storm victims on Aug. 13. The cost is $10 per bike and $15 for cars with an entry fee for the shows. The ride will leave Garden City Park in Garden City for a scenic ride to Little River Canyon then back to Garden City for the show and door prizes.
