Father-son team makes North Jefferson part of 1,000-mile journey

Wayne Huff and his 18-year-old son, T.J. passed through Warrior and took Hwy. 31 all the way through Gardendale on a five-week, 1,000-mile bicycle tour from Athens to Chicago, Ill.
The trip is intended to celebrate the creation of NacNak, a web services company of which Huff is CEO.
During their ride, Huff and T.J. will make stops to talk with mayors, non-profit organizations and residents; on Thursday, the team visited Microtel Inn in Gardendale.
At night, the pair will only stay at churches, Boys and Girls clubs and other non-profit organizations.
