Robyn Carol McGuirk

Funeral services for Robyn Carol McGuirk, 54, of Safety Harbor, Fla., will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Chris Chamblee officiating, with interment in Damascus Cemetery.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McGuirk died Wednesday, May 11. She was born May 1, 1957, in Birmingham to John Gilbert McGuirk and Marlene Boren Edwards. Robyn was formerly from Birmingham. She resided in Safety Harbor, Fla., for the past 25 years, 16 of those years she served in the U.S. Air National Guard. She retired as a computer technician from Compact Computers.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include his mother; two brothers, Tim (Carolyn) McGuirk and John McGuirk; a nephew, Tim L. (Lisa) McGuirk; five great-nieces; one great-nephew; and a host of friends and family.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
