Navy cadets offering colorguard services

United States Naval Sea cadets Foster Holcomb, Dean Williams, Jake Davis and Brandon Fellars present colors at the opening ceremonies at Fultondale Ball Park. All four cadets are part of VALOR Division, which draws many of its members from the Gardendale and Fultondale area.

Some future Navy personnel are offering a unique service in the north Jefferson County area.

The VALOR Division of the United States Naval Sea Cadets are available for presenting colors at events upon request.

The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a community service organization under the command of the Secretary of the Navy composed of children and teens ages 11 to 17. A large portion of VALOR Division’s membership is from the Gardendale and Fultondale area.

The unit’s color guard will perform a ceremony for almost any event. VALOR recently presented colors at the opening ceremonies at FUltondale Ball Park. To schedule a ceremony, contact Jones at 516-0509.
