Billy Eyster, economic development consultant for the city of Gardendale, spoke Thursday at the Greater Gardendale Chamber of Commerce luncheon. Eyster is working with the city’s new economic development board in an effort to bring more business to Gardendale. Eyster said growth in the area will require a new “village-type” vision, cooperation and investment.
