Fultondale City Council meets the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. and the fourth Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Fultondale City Hall. Meetings are open to the public.

• The class of 1956 of Vincent High School will celebrate 55 years on April 16 from noon until 3 p.m. in the gym of Union United Methodist Church in Westover. Others from 1950s classes are invited to attend this meeting. Catered lunch, games, hometown music and 1950s music are planned for this event. They want to see everyone there. • The 2011 Liver U talk for your health community education series sponsored by the UAB Liver Center will be held at the Fultondale First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on March 3 at 6 p.m. Pre-registration is requested but the event is free. You may register by calling 975-9698, emailing livercenter@uab.edu or by faxing 975-9777. The topic is “Fatty Liver Disease in Kids.”
