Apel – Trinchitella

On October 23. 2010 Alice Anne Trinchitella and John Chadwick Apel were united in marriage. Reverend Warren Ruland and Vicar John Bussman officiated the double ring ceremony at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. John Howard Trinchitella of Cullman. She is

the grandaughter of Mrs. Alma Falcon Trinchitella and the late John Francis Trinchitella, and the late Mrs. Bonnie Jordan Howard and the late Mr. Conrad Albert Howard.

The groom is the son of Mr. And Mrs. John Frederick Apel. He is the grandson of Mrs. Maebell Wilhite Apel and the late Arthur Henry Apel. and Mrs. Ellen Walser Uzzell and the late Edwin Clark Uzzell

Music was provided by Joyah Pettus on the violin, Barry Stoner on the picolo trumpet, Dr. Rebecca Whitehead on the organ. Joan Lee was the wedding director.

Given in marriage by her father, Alice wore a formal strapless fit and release gown. The soft romantic silk organza gown was accented with Alencon lace cascading down the bodice, into the train. The delicate lace was hand beaded with pearls and Swarovski beads. A silk tulle cage veil adorned her head. She wore pearl with diamond drop earrings, a gift from her Mother and Father and carried a bouquet of roses, hypericum berries, and hydrangeas.

Friend of the bride, Erica Paige Hood from Charlotte. N.C. served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Apel of Cullman, and Brooke Bell of Birmingham. AL. Both are sisters-in-law of the bride. They wore sterling gowns, styled with straight skirts and fabric crossing at the chest, and tying behind the neck.

Best man was Nicholas Apel and honorary best man John Frederick Apel, both of Cullman.

Groomsmen were Zach McGriff of Cullman and Paul Bell, of Birmingham. AL.

Ushers were Chad Nelson. Barrett Richard, and Bradley Uzzell of Atlanta. GA.

Aeryn and Claire Hood, of Charlotte, N.C, served as flower girls and wore ivory organza dresses with matching wide sashes,

Meghan Nelson attended the guestbook.

After the wedding, the couple was showered with multicolored rose petals, thrown by the guest as the couple recessed from the church.

The reception was held at the Rotunda. Entertainment included dinner and dancing, as well as a Florida State theme room honoring the groom.

Following the wedding trip to Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas, Chad and Alice will reside in Cullman, Alabama.

Prenuptial Parties

An engagement cocktail party was held August 28th at the Larkwood Club. Party was hosted by Maebell Apel. Cheri Dalgleish. and Ronny and Cheri Apel.

A bridal luncheon, honoring the bride elect, was held on September 25th at the First United Methodist Church Parlor. The luncheon was hosted by Donna Chamblee, Reverend Becky Davis. Stacy Howard, Cory Wilbanks. and Lynelle Wilbanks.

A couples shower, with a tropical theme, was given September 18th. The shower was hosted by Vicki and Mark Bussman and Becky and Bobby Uzzell at the home of the Bussmans.

At the First United Methodist Church Parlor, on October 2nd, Alice was honored with a Christmas Coffee. Hosted by Gwenda Howard, Stacy Howard, Pam Gasser, Barbara Romine, Mary Ann Trimble, and Malinda Windham.

Mr. and Mrs. John F. Apel hosted a festive rehearsal dinner at the Rotunda on October 22nd.
