Bryan Elementary hosting art walk, chili supper

Bryan Elementary School will have an “art walk” on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Students’ artwork will be on display, and for a $5 donation parents can “buy” their children’s artwork to take home. There will also be a chili supper.

F’dale approves business license, Radon Month

The Fultondale City Council approved a business license for Classic Auto Reostoration Services. It will be located at 2506 Northwood Street.

In other business, the

council:

• passed a resolution to authorize Fultondale Mayor Jim Lowery to enter a funding request for grant funds for upgrades of lighting on Interstate 65 with the Alabama Department of Transporation

• passed a resolution to approve the installation of three street lights in Chapel Hills Estates

• Proclaimed January, 2011 as National Radon Action Month.

Relay for Life Round Up

The Relay for Life Round Up will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gardendale Civic Center. Country music artist Abrielle Mullins will be performing.

The Relay for Life committee will be there to help register teams and will give any information needed to get your team started.

They will also be selling luminaria bags and signing up survivors. There should be a team captain present for the kick off.
