William Rex Cook, 78, of Birmingham, passed away on December 15, 2010.

Mr. Cook’s survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Frances; sons, David (Eileen) Cook of Pace, Fla., Michael Cook of Tallahassee, Fla., Bruce (Terri) Cook, of Mt. Olive; brother, Jim Cook; sisters, Jeanette Johnson, Joyce Collins, all from Chattanooga, Tenn.; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral services were held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel Friday, December 17 with burial in Forest Crest Cemetery. Bro. Doug Moore officiating.
