Fultondale used that to their advantage as they rolled over Victory Christian of Pell City by a 84-45 score Tuesday.

Fultondale (1-2) used their speed to force turnovers to roll up a 51-21 halftime lead, despite the shooting woes.

“We caused 30-plus turnovers, 21 in the first half,” coach Richie Busby said. “That’s the two things we’ve been working on: causing turnovers and offensive rebounds. And they’re playing hard, so that’s all we can do.”

Julian Hardy came off the bench to lead the Cats with 18 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Quantez McGary added 15 points, all on threes.

Ken Westerfield led Victory (2-6) with 22 points.
