Former Kimberly Mayor Ralph Lindsey presented a petition to the Kimberly Town Council on Tuesday about paving the roads of his neighborhood, Liberty Crossings. He also implored the council to contact the Jefferson County Board of Education about sending school buses to pick up and drop off children in the neighborhood.

Lindsey said representatives at the board told him there were no places for the bus to turn around, driving conditions were dangerous near the neighborhood and the number of students living in the neighborhood were not sufficient. Lindsey disagrees with all three reasons.
