Open Hearts performed for little over two years before members began their next phase of life after college. Many of the past members are now actively serving in ministry at churches around the south.

The Open Hearts Praise Band has been re-established this year as a praise and worship band.

The band is made up of three vocalists, a rhythm section (guitar, bass, keyboards and drums) and a five-member horn section (two trumpets, two saxophones and a trombone).

The band is available for concerts, festivals, youth retreats, fifth-quarter fellowships, revivals and just about any situation in which you need a praise and worship service.

Oktoberfest will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 2456 Decatur Hwy. in Gardendale. For more information about Oktoberfest, call 631-6590.
