Library News for Oct. 9

Fall books adorn our library as we are getting ready for the fall harvest. We have a harvest of activities. One thing to mention is our library expansion. You can still “Buy a Square Foot” for $20 and support our efforts to expand.

We are selling T-shirts to raise money for women’s cancer research. Come and purchase a T-shirt, check out your favorite book or movie to watch and register to vote by Oct. 20.

Children

• Oct. 11, 3:30 p.m.: Character Kids, first through third grades. We’ll be looking at “respect” and learning about the circulatory system.

• Oct. 13, 9:30 a.m.: Storytime, 4 years and up. “Not So Spooky” stories with Ms. Lucy

• Oct. 19, 3:30 p.m.: American Girl, all ages. “Felicity”

• Oct. 20, 9:30 a.m.: Storytime, 4 years and up. “Fun on the Farm” with Mrs. Janet

• Oct. 21, 3:30 p.m. Culture Kids, 6th grade and up. Ireland.

Adults

• Oct. 11, 6:30 p.m.: Book Club. “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Mitch Albom

• Oct. 13, 8 a.m.: Computer class, basic. First come, first served.

• Oct. 15, 2 p.m.: Bake-off. Create your favorite goodies and win a prize.

• Oct. 20, 8 a.m.: Computer class, Internet. First come, first served.

• Oct. 22: Seasoned Performers perform “Ghost Tracks.” Call Lisa for more information.
