Obituary—Steven Ray McAnnally

Steven Ray McAnnally, age 51, of Gardendale, was born on August 14, 1959. He went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2010, at home, surrounded by his loving family and friends by his side. He leaves behind a loving daughter, Danyl McAnnally Jones (Stephen) of Odenville; mother, Margaret Boone McAnnally of Mt. Olive; a very special dear friend, Julia Ferrell of Gardendale; grandchildren, Levi Price and Laci Jones; nephew, Christopher McAnnally of Mt. Olive; great niece, McKenzie McAnnally; three aunts and two uncles; a host of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard McAnnally; brother, Ricky McAnnally; grandparents, Ray and Evelyn Faile; Byron and Duskie McAnnally and a very special uncle, Harold McAnnally.

His funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2010, at 2 p.m., at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Hayden. Bro. Doug Moore and Bro. John Foster are officiating. John Russell, Donnie Faile, Christopher McAnnally, Jimmy Beard, Bo Beard and Corey Wilson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
