Ann Hicks, age 69 of Gardendale, passed away on Monday June 28, 2010. She was born February 22, 1941 in Cullman County and graduated from Cullman High School in 1959. She attended Sacred Heart College and was a member of Gardendale’s First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Sam Hicks; sons, David Hicks (Molly) and Paul Hicks (Christy); grandchildren, Evan, Jonah, Samuel and expecting Luke; brothers, Stanley Trimble (Mary Ann) and Rodney Trimble; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held on Thursday July 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Gardendale Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Legg and Rev. Mark Harrison officiated.
