Published 11:30 am Tuesday, June 1, 2010

Garden tip: When you transplant a shrub or tree, mix in one gallon of warm water, 1/3 cup hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup of baby shampoo, 4 tablespoons of instant tea granules and 2 tablespoons of fish emulsion. Use this mixture while the water is still warm. Add 1 quart of this mixture to each plant. Note: You can add 1/4 cup of any kind of whiskey but it is not necessary.
