Water plants in mornings to prevent diseases
Published 8:00 am Wednesday, May 12, 2010
Garden tip: When you need to water your plants in the flower beds or gardens, be sure to water early in the morning to give the leaves time to dry. This prevents fungal disease. You can now start to prune your blooming shrubs such as azaleas, rhododendrons, etc. Note: You do not want to prune the blooms off before they bloom. Prune after they bloom
