Officers arrested a 54-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman. The report said another suspect is still at large.

In addition to the arrests, the police also reported removing seven meth labs from the residence.

Morris Police Chief Brian Cochran said the labs were known as “shake and bake” or “one-pot” labs, or those that cook the meth in one container, usually a soda bottle. They are very volatile.

Cochran said it was unusual for police to find more than one lab in a meth raid.

Police said one 9-year-old child, allegedly belonging to one of the arrested persons, was also in the residence.

Police said the child has been removed from the residence and has been placed in the custody of the Department of Human Resources. Police said they also seized a 9-mm handgun at the residence.

Cochran said the three adults will be charged with chemical endangerment of a child; unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, first degree; unlawful possession of a controlled substance; and persons prohibited to possess firearms.
