Tabernacle Christian School Athletic Director David Corbett announced Monday that the Torches’ longtime head football coach, Keith Dabbs, is stepping down and handing the job off to his son, Wayne.
Wayne Dabbs played for his father on Tabernacle’s eight-man teams, then went on to play for the University of the Cumberlands through 2006. Dabbs then went on to assistant coaching stops at Cumberland University and Murray State, both in Kentucky.
Keith Dabbs will remain with the team, serving as an assistant under his son.
