Fultondale 2, Shades Mountain Christian 1: The Wildcats came back after the Eagles took the lead on Nick Holt’s goal in the 28th minute in Monday’s match.
Gustavo Ezquerra scored the equalizer 30 minutes into the game, then Toni Cruz found the back of the net with the game-winner in the 72nd minute for the Cats (4-1, 3-1 section).
Goalkeeper Ernesto Valladares Jr. had nine saves in the first half, and substitute keeper Joseph Beltran had five saves after the break.
Fultondale 6, Parkway Christian 0: Ernesto Valladares Jr. had seven saves as the first-half keeper, then went into offense in the second half and scored the last of the Cats’ goals in the 70th minute.
Gustave Ezquerra and David Morales also scored, and Toni Cruz opened the scoring on a penalty kick in the 15th minute. Parkway gave up two own goals.

Corner 16, Ramsay 6 (5 innings): Jake Eiland had two doubles with three RBIs, as the Yellow Jackets put 10 runs up in the second inning on their way to a mercy-rule win in area play.
Nick Webb had a two-run double for Corner.
Gardendale 10, Minor 0 (6 innings): Barrett Edwards and Chase Handley each drove in two runs, and Cody Belcher hit a triple and scored twice in Saturday morning’s win.
Josh Freeman got the win, pitching three innings in relief of Kyle Large.
Tabernacle Christian 13, Mellow Valley 3 (5 innings): Pitcher Jason Wilson struck out 10 in 32/3 innings. He also hit a triple and a double for four RBIs, and Ryan Thomas added another triple as the Torches won their first game.
