Annie Bell Jefferson, of Mount Olive, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on February 6, 2010. Mrs. Jefferson was preceded in death by her husband; Cecil D. Jefferson, son Jerry W. Jefferson, and step-son Herbert W. Jefferson. She is survived by daughters Anita (Rudy) Tyler, Dorothy (Dick) Riley, and Patricia (Larry) Farmer; Sons Ray (Linda) Higginbotham, Doug (Renee) Jefferson, Earl Jefferson; step-son Austin (Barbara) Jefferson; Brother Erskine (Mary) Simmons; 25 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 9 great- great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2010 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, with Funeral Services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. The Reverend Barbara Jefferson officiating and serving as pall bearers will be grandsons: Adam Jefferson, Woody Michael Jefferson, John Douglas Jefferson, Jonathan Jefferson, Jacob Farmer, and Andrew Jefferson.
