Opal Garner Cremer, age 89 of Hueytown, formerly of Center Point, passed away on Oct. 12, 2009. Survivors include her loving husband, Rev. Nat Cremer; children, Pam Parker and Kay Spanick (David); grandchildren, Paul Crittenden, Anna Wooten (Christopher), Joel Spanick (Jennifer); great-grandchildren, Jillian Spanick, Seth Wooten and Katy Wooten; sister-in-law, Ina Garner; nephews, Jimmy Garner, Johnny Garner, Paul Garner; special friend, Maggie Franklin. The family would like to thank Hope Hospice and Doug Alford for their special care given to the family. Services will be held at the Gardendale Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at Moncrief Cemetery with REv. Thomas Graves officiating.
