Catherine Copeland Roper, age 80, of Morris, was called home on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Her funeral service was held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, October 9 at noon with burial following at Liberty Minter Cemetery. Bro. Darrell Chamblee and Sis. Donnie Glass officiated. Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8 at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel from 6 until 8 p.m.. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Bill) Glass; son, Lynn (Tammy) Anderson; granddaughter, Karren (John) Mahaffey; great- grandson, Andrew Mahaffey; special friend, George Burns; and a host of extended family members and friends.
