Garden Tip: Now is the best time to root roses. Cuttings should be cut at a 45-degree angle, be 6-8 inches long and kept wet. Dip stem in a rooting powder, then place into a container that has moist soil. Cover the container with a plastic bag for about 2-3 weeks. Then place the containers in a humid area for about 6-10 weeks. Leave in these containers until spring. Many of the roses will take root. Remember to plant all rose bushes in full sun.
