James Clayton Reid, age 76, of Morris, went to be with Jesus on September 18, 2009 with his family by his side. Mr. Reid is survived by his wife of 32 years, Charlotte Reid; children, Cindy (Joel) Owens, Patricia Isbell, Vicky (Chris) King, Susie (Gary) Lockhart, Darryl (Denise) Chamblee, Regina Chamblee; 13 grandchildren; one great- grandchild; brother, Mitchell Reid; sister, Joyce Calvert; and many other extended family members and friends. He was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church, Morris. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23 beginning at 2 p.m. at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel with internment following in Morris Cemetery. Mr. Reid’s son, Darryl Chamblee will officiate along with Bro. Willard Davis. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 22.
