Clarence Clifton Doyle, Sr., age 90, of Pine Valley, Calif. went to be with the Lord on Sept. 5, 2009. Burial was at El Cajon Cemetery on Sept. 11, and a memorial service was held Sept. 12 at Ocotillo Bible Church with his son, Pastor Tim Doyle, officiating. Clarence was a loving father, grandfather and friend to many. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, the late Ruby Nell (Vaughn) Doyle. Clarence was born May 29, 1919 in Lehi, the son of the late Fred and Stella Doyle; he was the last of the five Doyle siblings to pass away. He served our country in the Youth Corps and in the United States Army. He moved to the San Diego, Calif. area in 1958 where he and his wife raised their family of eight children. He pursued a career in carpentry and as a nursing home owner and administrator. Clarence walked with the Lord and served faithfully as a member of the Ocotillo Bible Church. He is survived by seven of his eight children, and 86 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
