North Jefferson open house set for Tuesday

North Jefferson Middle School will have open house Tuesday at 6 p.m., following a short PTA meeting at 5:45 p.m. Parents will get to meet their child’s teacher, learn about their classes and schedule conferences. All parents are invited.



Car show to help pay for Corner band uniforms

A car show will be held at Corner High School on Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. to raise funds for the school’s new band uniforms. Entry fee is $15.



Snow Rogers to host Swamp John’s dinner

Snow Rogers Elementary will host a Swamp John’s fund-raiser dinner at the school on Sept. 24, 5-7 p.m. Meal includes choice of catfish, chicken tenders or shrimp plus drink and dessert. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the school. Call 379-5400.

Students named to UA Dean’s List for summer

NAMI walk geared to educating public
