Funeral services for Earl Nix Moore, 81, of Talladega, formerly of Luverne, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, at Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Edwin Hayes officiating, with burial in Pine Hill Memorial Park.

Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home in Talladega is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Moore died Sunday, Aug. 2, in Crowley, La. He was a native of Luverne, Ala., and lived in Talladega a short time. He was a member of the Baptist faith and was employed with the banking industry. He retired from the small business administration.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Colvard Moore; a granddaughter, Rachel Moore; and a brother, Robert Wilson Moore.

Survivors include four sons, Mark (Paulette) Moore of Crowley, La., Rusty (Pam) Moore of Cullman, Greg (Carol) Moore of Houston, Texas, and Mike (Stephanie) Moore of Lafayette, La.; two sisters, Hazel Moore of Montgomery and Nelda Bell of Cummin, Ga.; and seven grandchildren, Scott, Leighann, Stefanie, Cortney, Matthew, Madeline and Logan Mac Moore.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
