Problems with the field lights continue to plague the Alabama Warriors, so this Saturday’s game against the Premier Football League champion Panhandle Crusaders will be moved up to 4 p.m.
The game will be played at Warriors Stadium, at the old Warrior High School. Team owner/head coach Lee Ellison had considered moving the game to Mortimer Jordan High School, but decided to stay on home turf after his players asked him to stay on their regular field.
The Crusaders, based in Pensacola, Fla., are the only team to defeat the Warriors this season. They did so at Pensacola in the opening game, by a 19-13 score.
