Grad receives scholarship

Carlton Williams of Warrior is the recipient of a four-year University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Golden Excellence Scholarship valued up to $30,000. Williams is a graduate of Hayden High School and was a member of the National Beta Club, Varsity Football Team-Captain, Scholar’s Bowl-Captain, and Relay for Life-Chairman. At UAB, he will major in nursing/medicine. He is the son of Jay and Susan Williams of Warrior.
