Wet a small amount of the hardwood for each cutting, dip in rooting compound and place in already prepared soil. Keep moist and in a cool place out of the sun. I hope you have great luck with your cuttings. I really did last year.

• To all of you that work in this heat, please stay hydrated and try to cool off periodically. These temperatures are very dangerous, so do not overdo it. Soak towels in a cooler of ice water and wrap them around your neck or head.
