One hundred Jefferson County sophomores were named as Super Scholars during a ceremony in April at Birmingham-Southern College. “These sophomores are the future semifinalists and finalists and scholars for the National Merit Scholarship wins when they are seniors in 2011,” said Nez Calhoun, public information specialist for the Jefferson County School System.

North Jefferson Super Scholars are:
