Golf tourney raises funds for senior center

The ninth annual Senior Citizens Golf Tournament was a big success this year. A special thanks to local businesses that donated door prizes and money for the door prizes.
• Fultondale High School’s graduation will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Gateway Baptist Church. I would also like to congratulate the 2009 Graduates of Fultondale High School and all other area schools. We would like to wish all of you a happy and prosperous future. Special congratulations go to: Brittany Howell, daughter of Councilman Billy Howell and wife Tammy of Fultondale; and Ashley Guffey, daughter of Wendy Hubbert of Fultondale.
• A special congratulations to Taylor Powell, a 2009 graduate of Gardendale High School. Taylor is the daughter of Kim (Hubbert) and Jeff Powell and signed a softball scholarship with Wallace State in Dothan.
• Special congratulations to Trey Williamon, a 2009 Graduate of Gardendale High School. Trey is the son of Fultondale High School Principal Donna (Loden) Williamon and Bobby Williamon and grandson of Councilman Tommy Loden and Joanne Loden of Fultondale. Also congratulations to Morgan Moore, a 2009 graduate of Fultondale High School. She is the daughter of Sandy and Phillip Loden.
• A special happy 31st birthday wish goes to my daughter, Amy Barnes, on May 28. She is the sister to Derek Barnes and mother of Eli Booker. I hope she has a wonderful birthday.
• A special happy birthday wish goes to Donna Williamon on May 28. She is the daughter of Councilman Tommy and Joanne Loden. We hope she has a great birthday.
• A special happy 19th birthday wish to Morgan Curlette on May 20. Morgan is the granddaughter of Chief Byron Pigg and Sharon Pigg of Fultondale. We hope she has a great birthday.
