As the 2008-2009 school year draws to a close, Bragg Middle School prepares for its yearly art show.

All throughout the school year, art students of Linda Barton learn various styles and techniques used to create beautiful works of art.

This fine arts class is usually taken over the course of 18 weeks. However, for some of the more artistically gifted students, this becomes a year-long selection often referred to as Honors Art.

No matter what route is chosen, you can rest assured anyone looking to further their skills in the world of art, will not only become a better artist, but also gain a new outlook on self expression.

On May 11, Barton will host the art show at Bragg Middle School from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Her sixth seventh, and eighth graders will be there displaying their different pieces, some of which will be for sale.

There will be free refreshments and anyone who comes is sure to have an enjoyable evening viewing the marvelous masterpieces the students have worked so hard on.
