Wilma Bean Adams, age 96 of Sandusky/Forestdale area, peacefully passed to be with her Lord and Savior on April 16, 2009. She was proceeded in death by her husband Edward R. Adams and her son, Gary R. Adams. Mrs. Adams was a member and longtime WMU director at Sandusky First Baptist Church. She was retired from Pizitz Department Stores after many years of service and also retired from Helping Hand Health Services as a Home Healthcare Nurse. Survivors include her children, Paula June Adams, Linda Dale Cato and James Edward Adams, 11 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at The Gardendale Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. REv. Gerald Trevarthen and Rev. Ricky Thacker officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
