Like to hunt eggs? You’re in luck next month

The second-annual night-time Easter Egg Hunt will be held April 4 at Moncrief Park behind the tennis courts. The event is sponsored by the City of Garden-dale and The Church Revived. The event is free and there will be food, games and prizes. Bring your flashlight.
• The Great Egg Drop will take place April 4 on Mount Olive Road about 2 miles west of I-65. There will be inflatables and free drinks and snacks while we wait on the helicopter to arrive. The eggs will be stuffed with candy and many of them with certificates for prizes from local merchants. All kids are welcome! For more information call 631-4525 or visit www.church2911.com.
• There will be a community Easter egg hunt on April 5 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at Black Creek Park. This will include the egg hunts, games, pictures with the Easter bunny, a light hot dog supper and much more. This free event is sponsored by Gardendale-Mt. Vernon UMC, Call 631-7631 for more information.
• Glenn’s Chapel Baptist Church will have a special singing tomorrow at 6 p.m. featuring the group To The End Trio. For more information call 631-4977.
• Walk for Life for the North Jefferson Women’s Center will be held on April 4 at 10 a.m. For more information call 608-0757.
