Funeral services for Ellon Ernestine Johnson, 96, of Cullman will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Kerry Cleghorn and Mike Snow officiating, with burial in Vinemont Baptist Church Cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Johnson died Sunday, March 15, at her residence. She was born Feb. 23, 1913, to Edward and Hettie Swann Carter. She was a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, James C. Johnson.

Survivors include two sons, Robert (Joy) Johnson and Charles (Linda) Johnson; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two special nieces, Louise Basenberg and Christine Gentry.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
