Welcome home to our fire chief, Alan Camp. He has been overseas for six months serving our country. Hats off to you and happy birthday on Feb. 27.

• Happy anniversary to Roy and Donnie Glass on Feb. 28.

• On Jan. 24, a big 90th birthday party was given for my Aunt Grace Motes. It was a gigantic bash. Present were people from Tennessee, Florida and all over Alabama. There was plenty of fun, food and fellowship. She was presented 90 red roses by her family. It was a wonderful time and she is a very special lady and very highly blessed. I love you.

• It’s time for another Super Girls For Christ at Warrior “I” Church of God 6 p.m. March 7. Ages 5-12. For more info call Malissa at 978-8241 or Sherri at 862-6775.

• Happy birthday to: Johnnie Crane on March 1; Leon McCombs and Dr. Suess on March 2; Ressie Crider on March 3; and Kyle Hollis on March 5. I hope they are all great.

• Happy anniversary to John and Sandra White on March 4 and Brian and Amanda Smith on March 6.

• Loves Crossing Church of God will be presenting : “B.I.N.G.O. Spells Murder” on March 13. Tickets are $20 for the dinner theater. Dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. and the play starts at 7 p.m. You may purchase the tickets from the church or by calling 647-4673 or 647-7115.

• Happy belated birthday to Philip Metcalf on Feb. 25.
