Safe Harbor’s third annual Beacon of Hope benefit concert will be held on March 7.
Performing will be the Alabama Blues Brothers, the Warblers, Hunter Nance, and Oak Mountain High School’s male show choir “The Craftsmen.”
Safe Harbor is a faith-based not-for-profit organization that ministers to families “dealing with the uncertainty, tensions and pain generated by the poor personal choices made by their adolescent children,” according to the Safe Harbor Web site.
Those groups are called “Refuge.”
Safe Harbor also provides a court-referral program, grief counseling, Christian life coaching, resources and education and professional training.
A former Safe Harbor group that met in Gardendale is not currently active, but Safe Harbor executive director Rock Hobbs said that groups meet in Cullman, Hueytown and Alabaster.
The Beacon of Hope concert will be held at Southeastern Bible College on March 7.
Tickets are $20 each or $15 for members of groups and for senior citizens. They can be bought in advance at www.thesafeharbor.org or by calling Safe Harbor.
Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the concert.
To order tickets or for more information, call Safe Harbor at 981-0995.
