A new semi-pro football team with roots in last year’s Warrior Wildfire is being formed.

The Alabama Warriors will play their home games at the old Warrior High School. The Warriors are members of the Premier Football League, one level higher than the league the Wildfire dominated last year.

Tryouts are next Saturday at 9 at the field. Play starts on May 30.
