On behalf of the City of Fultondale, I would like to remind those that have a business in the city that it is time to renew you business license. Those who wait pay a late fee, so try to take care of this as soon as possible.

• If anyone makes decorative grooms cakes, please contact me at 841-4481.

• I want to remind everyone to shop locally because it brings revenue back into the city.

• I would like to send a special belated birthday wish to Randy Posey on

Feb. 2. Randy is the public works supervisor of our street department and does a great job. We hope he had a great birthday.

• A special birthday wish to Brandi Helton, magistrate of our court department, on Feb. 5. She does a great job in court and we hope she has a great birthday.

• Remember Valentine’s Day is Feb. 14 — you had better not forget that special someone or you will be in the dog house.

• Don’t forget to remember our good friend, the OLD troublemaker himself, Ken Crowe in your prayers. We pray he will be out of the hospital real soon and back to see us.

• The Fultondale Council will meet Monday at 6 p.m. at city hall.
