Euel Adams

Mr. Adams of Kimberly, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009, at age 82. He was born August 24, 1926, to Frank and Ruby Adams. He attended Beechwood Baptist Church for many years and his recent church was Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Butler Manufacturing. His hobbies were gardening, hunting and beekeeping. He had a love for animals: dogs, cats, goats, cows, ducks and purple martins to name a few. Not only was he an ordained Southern Baptist minister and pastored many churches, but a loved husband, father, and granddaddy whose love and integrity will live on through his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter Danielle Buckelew. He is survived by his wife, Ora Adams; one sister, Christine Phillips; three daughters: Donna Buckelew-Adams, Tammy (David) Dodson, and Debbie (Percy) Byrd; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Adams were on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. David Dodson and Percy Byrd officiated with internment at Hood Cemetery, Royal, AL.
